Ten years ago, in 1999, I started working at an assisted living facility in Wisconsin. To me, it wasn't only a job. I had to work at something that I also enjoyed. I grew up in Hungary where young people respected older adults. I always liked to be around the elderly.
It gave me pleasure to talk to them and to help them. That's where the "Hun" in HunAngel come from - for Hungary.
I was certified in the fall of 1999 as a Resident Assistant while working at the assited living facility in Wisconsin.
When I moved to Iowa I met some caregivers, and soon I started thinking about working in that field again. As I was working for a home care agency in the Cedar Rapids area, I decided it was time to start my own business as a caregiver.
I always try to please others with my services. I am not satisfied until I can make the other person satisfied. My goal is quality work through high expectations of myself. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills through continuing education and training. Recently, I've completed the Red Cross requirements for certification in adult CPR.
